Henrik Lundqvist took a puck to the ribs while practicing in advance of Team Sweden’s pre-World Cup training camp in the goaltender’s hometown of Gothenburg, but The King told The Post he is good to go for the tournament.

“A few days ago I took a puck right to the rib cage when my equipment somehow moved,” Lundqvist said in an email. “I did have some discomfort, and it’s sore and stiff and probably will be for a while, but I’m OK.”

Lundqvist, who underwent an MRI exam, said he “skated the next day and didn’t even think about it.”

Reports circulated on social media that the Rangers netminder had suffered a strain while playing golf Saturday that might prevent him from playing in the tournament that commences in Toronto on Sept. 17.

“I did play golf in a charity tournament — my first round in a year — and I did have some discomfort, but not from anything that happened there,” he said. “I hadn’t talked about what happened earlier so no one knew.

“But I’m OK and looking forward to being in Toronto.”
